The "MORE DETAILS" you have been waiting for...
There is a village called Nawantale in Central Uganda, East Africa, where the littlest kids have very little food, hardy any clothing and few any hope to get into a pre-school let alone elementary school. It is too expensive for their poor parents who are mostly farmers. The Project wants to build schools, and specifically Montessori Schools! Why?
Here's the story:
The Association Montessori Internationale philosophy teaches the whole child and includes every mother and father in the creation of learning-centered, healthy environment where children thrive. You can help to get these children into pre-schools where they will eat regular meals, have literacy guidance as each child becomes ready to read, and ever cihld's family will participate in the learning bout health, reduce mosquito mortality problems for kids, aid nutrition, and be proud how very ready to learn they are!

The Project invites every Montessori School and every child's family who loves learning IN THE WORLD t hep us raise enough money to build the pre-schools we need, to train and hire Montessori teachers RIGHT FROM our village, and to help improve the community through giving our littlest children the right beginnings! We are raising funds to run fast to education!
So! Schools and individuals may register to join "Rock the Equator Walk/Run- 2010."

Registration Fee: Schools register by number of children participating.
Up to 50 Kids = $50 US dollars per school
51-100 Kids = $75 US dollars per school
101-500 Kids = $100 US dollars per school
Individuals register separately. $25 US dollars per individual
